Based On Syndrome Differentiation "form" In Huangdi Neijing Suit The Stitch Literature Research

Research meaning and purpose:Inner Canon of Yellow Emperor is one of the four major classic of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). However, form anatomy studies of Inner Canon of Yellow Emperor are rare. During the time when Inner Canon of Yellow Emperor was written, acupuncture was considered as the main treatment. According to Inner Canon of Yellow Emperor, there is a "physical form syndrome differentiation" therapy that based on form anatomy. And this therapy directly guides the clinical practice of acupuncture symptomatic treatment. Though systematically combing of form anatomy and the related contents based on "physical form syndrome differentiation" theory, this paper excavates the form anatomy theory in Inner Canon of Yellow Emperor, conducts a preliminary study on "physical form syndrome differentiation", and interprets the needling instrument and manipulation of "acupuncture symptomatic treatment"Research Method:This article uses the method that combines literature and fundamental research. Basing on ancient Chinese philosophy and TCM theory, drawing form the concepts and methods in contemporary semantics, in aspect of traditional exegesis, this paper comprehends, classifies and systematizes the form anatomy theory in Inner Canon of Yellow Emperor. On that basis, using analysis, conclusion, inference, association and other related theoretical research, under the guidance of "physical form syndrome differentiation" theory, this paper interprets contents and manipulations of acupuncture symptomatic treatment.Research Content and Conclusion:This thesis is mainly divided into six parts:The first part is the introduction that introduces an overview of this project and studies on form anatomy in Inner Canon of Yellow Emperor, focusing on seeking the influence of "heaven six, earth five" philosophy on the forming of early TCM theory.The second part is the recognition of basic concepts. Meaning and content of "form and structure","anatomy", and "acupuncture symptomatic treatment" in Inner Canon of Yellow Emperor are investigated in this part. This part also initially studies the relationship between form anatomy and acupuncture symptomatic treatment.The third part is division and sorting of form anatomy in Inner Canon of Yellow Emperor which was based on "the five elements" and "the six directions". In the age that Inner Canon of Yellow Emperor was written, influenced by philosophical concepts of "heaven five, earth six", doctors layered human body according to the five elements and the five constituents, and separated human body according to the six directions (up, down, left, right, inside and outside). All of these have specific calibration method. In Inner Canon of Yellow Emperor, human body is considered as a organic whole of the combination of xing, qi and spirit. Change of form and structure shall influence the movement of qi and spirit. Once falling ill, xing, qi and spirit shall all dysfunction.The fourth part sorts "the physical form syndrome differentiation" in Inner Canon of Yellow Emperor, explores the characteristics, pathogenesis and affectability of form and structure damage in related sections. Form and structure damage can be divided by "five body layering" and "six direction position" though this sorting. Different form condition has different damage affectability. Therapeutic method of "numerous arthralgia" and "general arthralgia" in Inner Canon of Yellow Emperor is set as an example in discussing the characteristics of acupuncture symptomatic treatment based on "the physical form syndrome differentiation" theory.The fifth part is a sorting of the needling instrument and manipulation of acupuncture symptomatic treatment according to the Inner Canon of Yellow Emperor. Analysis and summarization of relevant literature suggest the acupuncture symptomatic treatment be divided in two:five body layering acupuncture therapy and six direction position acupuncture therapy. Five body layering acupuncture therapy needling according to the gradation of skin, muscle, tendon, vessel and bone and using the needling instrument named nine-needle.Six direction position acupuncture therapy has two types:one takes the local lesion as reference point and the other takes whole body position as reference point. When needling though the local lesion, the needle bodies locate in a certain geometry segment in the local lesion or subcutaneous. When needling though the whole body position, the needling points and the lesions only have simple coordinates corresponding relations of six directions. Recuperation means of six direction position acupuncture therapy for different constitution in Lingshu.25yin and yang person is based on the whole body position.
