With an aging population and the increasing working pressure of white-collars,high blood pressure, high cholesterol and other chronic diseases has become awidespread disease of the two groups. Because of that lack of medical resources and theuneven distribution, the way of traditional healthcare can no longer meet the currentneeds of the huge population of chronic diseases. With the rise and development ofembedded technology and network technology, health monitor has developed to thedirection of small, portable and remote. According to the needs of portable monitor ofthe chronic diseases, this paper researched and developed a personal healthcare systemwhich based on the core of S3C2440A and the operating system of Linux.The healthcare system can monitor the common three physiological signals ofbody temperature, ECG, blood pressure. A friendly interface which is easy to operate isdesigned with the GUI software QT. In addition to the basic detection function, the usercan also set alarm threshold according to their physical characteristics. Moreover, ECGmodule has parameter detection and simple illness analysis functions to intelligentlydiagnose ECG disorders. In addition, the3G wireless network card is used, so that thecollected information can be transmitted to the server and connected to the follow-upnetwork system to realize the remote healthcare.Compared with the similar design, innovation and characteristics of this system isthat: first, designed a complete set of user interface for user, the good human-computerinteraction is close to the standards of the commercial product; Second, the user can setthe physiological signal alarm threshold according to their physical characteristics underthe guidance of a doctor to be more precisely; Third, the system can not only save thecollected data locally, but also upload the data over3G wireless network card.Compare to the common household physiological signal detection equipment, theexperimental results show that the various functions of the system is complete, the testdata is valid, the interface shows normally, the transmission data has no significant loss. The system can be used as a front end of the telemedicine equipment. It can be provedthat this research of this paper is feasible.
