Objective: This purpose of this study was to observe Polygonatumpolysaccharide on heart-related blood indexes of high intensityexercise-induced,analyze possible mechanism and explore a new means of cardiacmicro-injury and cardiac endocrine disorders caused by and high intensityexercise.Methods:14healthy male volunteers were randomly divided into PP group andPlacebo group.Subjects performed a high-intensity incremental treadmill exerciseafter respectively taking Polygonatum polysaccharide enteric-coated capsules andthe same dose placebo with100mg/day for four weeks before exercise. The mediancubital vein were taken before exercise, immediately after,and4h after the end ofexercise and were measured cTnT, GPBB, plasma ANP, ET, CGRP levels, and wererecorded exercise duration, distance and heart rate of subjects.Results:1. The above indices were no significant difference before exercisebetween the two groups.2.cTnT concentration increased significantly in two groupsafter4h of exercise, no difference significant in the two groups.3.GPBBconcentration increased very significantly in two groups immediately afterexercise, but PP group was significantly lower than Placebo group.4.ANP increasedsignificantly in two groups and Placebo group increased with a significant difference,no difference significant in the two groups.5.ET increased significantly in twogroups immediately after exercise, but Placebo group was significantly higher thanPP group.6.CGRP increased significantly in two groups after exercise, but Placebogroup was slightly higher, no difference significant in the two groups.Conclusion:1.A high-intensity treadmill exercise resulted in a significantincrease in serum cTnT, GPBB in both groups, causing cardiac reusable minorinjury, taking Polygonatum polysaccharide had no significant inhibition in highcTnT caused by exercise, but it can effectively reduce increase the high amplitude inGPBB, suggesting that PP had a positive effect in protecting the integrity of structureand function of myocardial cell membrane and maintaining normal energymetabolism of myocardial cells.2.As compared with before exercise, the changes ofANP,ET-1,CGRP in PSP group was lower than placebo group immediately after exercise, suggesting that Polygonatum polysaccharide was not obvious in thechanges with ANP and CGRP induced exercise; ET increased significantly in twogroups immediately after exercise, but PP group was significantly lower than Placebogroup, suggesting that Polygonatum polysaccharide maintaining theexercise-induced cardiac endocrine changes reflected the aspect.in the inhibition ofthe increased ET.
