Objective:The experimental rat model of cerebral infarction by thread embolism method,investigate the protective mechanism of Huoxuerong-luo pill on cerenral infarction,guiding clinical therapy.Methods:To establish rat model of cerebral infarction by thread embolism method,after the success of modeling, They were divided into experimental group(Huoxuerongluo pill group) and control group(Buflo-medil pyridoxal phosphate group),model group,each group of48mice.The operation group and model group were given distilled water after the operation;the experimental group and control group were treated with drugs.Taking the neurological deficit score and measuring the area of cerebral infarction by TTC staining,the expression of immunohistiche-mical determination of MMP-9protein after24h,3d,5d,7d.Result:After cerebral infarction in rats among the experimental group, control group and model group compared with the nerve function score in24h had no significant difference(P>0.05), but there was statistically significant at the3d,5d,7d(P<0.05).There is no obvious change between experiment group with control group at the each time point(P>0.05);TTC staining method for measuring the cerebral infarction area in model group at4time points after dyeing infarct size had no significant change(P>0.05).-The cerebral infarction area had significant differences compared with experimental group and the control group(P<0.01),There were statistical significance between the control group and the model group(P<0.05). The experimental group copared with the control group at the24h,5d,7d(P<0.05),3d(P<0.01).The expression of MMP-9have no changes in the sham operation group(P>0.05).Each time point of MMP-9protein expression inceased after cerebral infarction in rats of model group,reached the peak at3d.then gradually decreased.Other time points compared with3d has statistically significant(P<0.05).The MMP-9expressions of model group at all time points were up-regulated in the experimental group(P<0.01).The MMP-9expressions of the Huoxuerongluo pill group and the control group have no difference at24h,3d,5d(P>0.05),but lower than the control group at7d(P<0.05).Conclusion:Huoxuerongluo pill could improve the acute cerebral infarction rats neural function score and the general conditions recovery. At the same time could reduce the area of cerebral infarction and expression of MMP-9protein.
