Purpose:Byobservingtheeye-acupuncturetherapyonintestinalbowelsyndromein patients with brain-gut peptide substance P (SP), vasoactive intestinalpeptide (VIP), acetylcholine (Ach), the influence of somatostatin (SS) indexcontent, explore eye acupuncture treatment of irritable bowel syndrome may bethe mechanism.Material and method:From March2010to September2011to comply with andaccept the eye-acupuncture treatment of irritable bowel syndrome study of60patients, eye acupuncture therapy according to a course of four weeks, the mainpoint remove the focal region, colon area, spleen District; liver depressionand spleen and liver area with points, spleen and stomach stomach area aftertreatment to assess clinical efficacy, respectively, before treatment and aftertreatment, fasting blood8ml centrifugal refrigeration, once immunologicalindicators before and after treatment, respectively quantitative detection,content application SPSS15.0statistical software, T test was used forstatistical analysis.Results:One. SP, VIP content after an eye acupuncture treatment, significantly lowerthan before treatment (P <0.05), there are significant differences;Two. Eyecupuncture for the content of the SS, of Ach indicators before and aftertreatment no significant effect (P>0.05), no significant difference.Conclusion:Through the eye acupuncture therapy no significant effect of Ach, the SS indexcontent on this study, the content of SP, VIP, therefore concluded that: theeye pin to reduce diarrhea-predominant irritable bowel syndrome in patients with SP, VIP indicators content, thereby improving the intestinal sensitive and maybe part of the mechanism of eye-acupuncture treatment of the disease.
