My translation thesis object is the Literal Commentary-The Analysis of Atonement by Ian McEwan. McEwan is one of most important fiction writer in the world of contemporary British Literature. Atonement, as one of key works of him, has gained great awareness and discussion. The translated piece is a critical article by Brian Finney published in 2004. The focus of this article is the ingenious implementation of fiction in Atonement, and the chemistry reactions between this novel and other classical works of modern literature.By reading this, one could better understand Atonement in a boarder literal background, and gains more interest of the Contemporary British Literature.
