"religion And Reform" English-chinese Translation Wrote: Explore The Cultural Background To Translation Is Accurate

The project is composed of two parts. The first part is the translation of the original text Religion and Reform from English into Chinese, which is written by Lewis C. Perry and published in A companion to American Cultural History in 2008. As is known to all, there are so many great religion leaders and thoughts which influenced and changed the world. Many persons think American social movements have no business with religions. But the essay collected many viewpoints and descriptions, of religion revival, social reform, women’s liberation and abolishment of slavery, of renowned scholars like Barnes, Noyes, Finney etc to justify their religion origins. The second part is a summary of my afterthoughts about how to do the translation better technically.
