Song Maocheng Novel Research

As one of the important classical Chinese novelist in the Ming dynasty, the SongMaocheng’s stories not only inherited in the novels of Southern and Northern Dynasties andthe tradition legendary novels of Tang Dynasty, but also learnt from the excellent part of theearly Ming Dynasty classical Chinese novels . After mixing with all of them, it affected thelater Ming Dynasty and Qing Dynasty classical novels, promotig the development ofpopular fictionin of china. However ,at present there is less academic system research anddiscussion of Songmaocheng . Therefore, the author will try a comprehensive and in-depthway to discuss classical Chinese novels of Song Maocheng, in order to deepen theunderstanding of fiction of Song Maocheng.This paper is divided into six parts.The first part: Research review and research significance. Including the present reviewand comment towards Song Maocheng’s novel ,expounds the significance of this paper.Part 2: The introduction of Song Maocheng with his novel-writing. Starting with his familyand life experience, we will have a discussion about the influence of The Song’s family culturaland legendary rich experience of Song Maocheng on his novels. Then, the author analysis thewriting material sources system of Song Maocheng’s novel, combes collection of popularversion situation, of“Jiu Yue Ji”,and organizes the existing system of Song Maocheng’s noveltitles.Part 3: The ideological content of Song Maocheng’s novel. Including love and themarriage between the men and women, the legendary and chivalrous persons and Fairy tales,historical events and social celebrities , the folk acrobatics and legendary different things.
