Previous studies show that, emotions can affect individual’s information processing. Anxiety could lead to si-gnificant attention bias, making to be more concerned about the threaten information. And it is difficult to sepa-rate their attention. This article which designed on the basis of previous researches, use the subliminal affecti-ve priming paradigm, verify the relationship between anxiety level and threat information processing, and expl-ore the process of this phenomenon. The materials used in this experiment is Chinese two-character words, and be screened by the valence of words ability standard balanced grouping the number of strokes, word frequenc-y, emotional valence, and finally form of the word material to meet the requirements of this experi-ment. Ulti-mately retained96words, divided into three groups, each32words (16neutral words,16threats words), corr-espond to the three experimental conditions-supraliminal conditions, the subliminal conditions and baseline conditions.Test in accordance with the relative degree of trait anxiety were divided into the hig-h-score group and low-score group, watching brief supraliminal/subliminal on the written material to stimuli. And the main trial in evading the conditions of the target word to complete the phrase structure task, was under the threshold to start the hit rate of the target word was significantly higher than the baseline situation. For the threat words, high-score group’s hit rate was significantly higher than the low-score group; for the neutral words, high-score group’s hit rate was significantly lower than the low-score group, but did not rea-ch the statistical significance level. Relatively higher level of anxiety were more obvious threaten information processing bias. The process-ing can break into conscious, and this process can be used to explain the genera-tion of automatic thoughts.
