Background information and creation process were briefly introduced before the intensiveanalysis on the artistic characteristics, music arrangement, lines choreography and aesthetics ofnational opera《Daughter of the Party》were discussed in this thesis. Typical scenes of the operawere chosen to analyze the performance of the opera including the singing styles and sentimentalrendering of the opera according to the author’s personal practice and understanding.400yearsafter the birth of western opera, chinese national opera dated back from the20th century startedto emerge as an individual artistic form by combing western opera and chinese classic musicelement. Six scene opera 《Daughter of the Party》is one of typical remarkable national operasafter the pioneer work of national opera 《White-haired Girl》.It is one of the best national operasthat worth to be treasured. Four chapters are included in this thesis. Creation process, togetherwith its evolution of Chinese opera is presented in the first chapter. Analysis on those topicspresents the development of Chinese opera. Brief introduction to the content of the opera《Daughter of the Party》 is shown in chapter two including its background information,creation process and story evolution. Chapter three offers the artistic analysis on the opera《Daughter of the Party》. Specific characteristics of the content, presentation of attractive storyevolution and artistic implementation of opera creation are discussed in this chapter. Part《Spring Scenery All Over》 is intensively investigated in chapter four. Rhythm, singing skill,emotional delivery of this part is discussed in this part.
