Sculpture In The Narrative Language

Chinese and foreign sculptures always with a strong narrative, the narrative language is a function language of a sculpture, it’s an important means of recording the time, life and thought. With the progress of the times, the emergence of a variety of records form, the narrative function gradually being diluted and be circumvented in many sculpture. I think:sculpture inherent the language of the narrative, artists can’t be avoided, and there is no need to be avoided. The sculpture is still shoulder the important duty of the recording the times, lives and thoughts.In the history of sculpture, narrative sculptures can’t be avoided, he occupies an important position and has more far-reaching impact, the work themselves reflects the strong narrative expression is interesting and worth studying the phenomenon. In the paper will show a way to use literature survey/pictures and historical facts together to help revert narrative sculptures to the historical context. Using an image analysis method to analyze few typical works like Rent Collection Courtyard/Li du/Rent-Rent Collection Courtyard/Ni ren zhang’works to render the narrative of the sculpture itself.The paper is divided into three parts of introduction/text and conclusion. The introduction describes the choice of research object, the method used in this paper, the purpose and significance. Text from the first chapter. Review the development of the sculpture history, the narrative of sculpture is very important, creating sculpture nowadays, we should hold the idea that to creative the narrative of a sculpture.
