Heilongjiang Province In The Qing Dynasty (aihui, A County In Heilongjiang Province) Deputy Yamen

In1683, the year that Qing Dynasty’ Kang Xi emperor at his throne for22years, inorder to resist the aggression of Tsarist Russia, the Qing government made Sa Busu asthe general of Heilongjiang Province to in charge of the war towards Russia. At thesame year, the post of Heilongjiang Deputy Governor was set up, which had a deepinfluence to the administration and development of Heilongjiang province. The DeputyGovernor made beneficial dedications towards the harmonious development ofdiversified ethnics at this place, including training and disciplining the solders,patrolling the borders and implementing agricultural applications etc. This thesis meansto analyze the functions of this institution and appraise the historical status objectivelythrough the roles it played in this particular period, the living conditions of its peoplewith diversified ethnics and the reason why this faculty finally been canceled.
