Chinese character, as the medium of Cathy culture; was introduced to Korea datingback to around BC.300. In the mid-fifteenth century, Chinese characters were stillwidely used and playing a very important role in Korean language, even after Kingformulated Korean own written language. Nowadays, with the “Han yu hot” gettingcrazy, an increasing number of Korean students come to china to study Chinese.Compare with Western Students, the characteristic of Korean Students is different. Onone hand,thanks to their mother tongue, the Korean students in China are especiallyadvantageous than others in learning Chinese as their second language. On the otherhand, Korean students feel confused in Learning Chinese when some of its features aresimilar but not identical to Korean.Basing on a lot of achievements, this article has a systematic illustration onChinese characters’ source development and current usage, and divides Chinesecharacters/words into three categories: sino-source, Japonic-source, and korean-source.Then using the words of first-degree and second-degree from the <Syllabus of ChineseWords>, we can find the difference between the Sino-Korean and Corresponding wordsof Chinese by comparing <Modern Chinese Dictionary> and <KoreanDictionary>.;Make a systematic Comparison on the meaning of these Chinesecharacters with those of the same source, and find out the original reason ofmisunderstanding.On Phonetic teaching, we can use identifying sound method to find the differencebetween the Sino-Korean and Corresponding words of modern Chinese. On Vocabularyteaching, we can find out good teaching method from the Errors examples, On Chinesecharacter teaching, we find corresponding memory method and distinguishcomplexformed and simplified Chinese character. From there sides, we will find the keypoints of Chinese teaching and teaching efficiency of Korean students can de raised with it.
