Liu Xizai Art Is, Fu Is Research

Liu Xizai’s Yi and Fu, one of the most important works in the traditional Chinese Fu, has important value for the study on the traditional Fu theory. Yi and Fu, produced in the most prosperous period for Fu in the Qing Dynasty, is much influential in the works of Fu. The study on Yi and Fu will be helpful to the overall research on the traditional Fu theory. Based on the ancient Fu theory, this thesis studies Liu Xizai’s Yi and Fu, and tries to explore some unique ideas of Yi and Fu as well as its contribution to the development of Chinese Fu theory.First of all, this thesis studies Liu Xizai’s thought to create Yi and Fu, in order to find out the ideological basis for forming Liu Xizai’s Fu theory. The formation of Liu Xizai’s Fu theory has complex reasons, and through study the author of this thesis finds that the formation of Liu Xizai’s Fu theory is closely related to his own life and ideology, as well as the influence of the ancient Fu theory. Therefore, the first chapter in this thesis mainly studies the formation of Liu Xizai’s Fu theory from two aspects:One begins with the overall development of the ancient Fu theory to study its influence on the formation of Liu Xizai’s Fu theory. The other studies the reasons for the formation of the Fu theory, on the basis of Liu Xizai’s life and ideology.Secondly, Liu Xizai’Yi and Fu is basically almost research methods in the second chapter. The author thinks that Liu Xizai’s mainly ideas is taken to the two kings of research methods, namely to poetics and dialectical thinking Fu theory. First, Fu theory has not formed their own criticism thoughts and critical discourse, therefore, Liu Xizai’s Fu showed the Fu theory ’s research methods naturally; Second, Liu Xizai’s Fu theory reflects hie literary dialectical thinking methods, Liu Xizai’s Fu showed the thick literary dialectical thought.Third, the paper is mainly on the main ideas of the research in the third chapter. The author thinks that the major point of Liu Xizai’Yi and Fu is reflected in two aspects. First, Liu Xizai put forward his new ideas though a new understanding of the origin of Fu, and he rejected the traditional assignment of statement. In his opinion, Fu is come form the tumult circumstances. Second, Liu Xizai’ideas about fu and xing, he thinks the fu is the main content with performance characteristic, it should be the main art expression with metaphor. Fourth,in the third chapter, this paper studies on the classification of Fu made by Liu Xizai mainly.The classification of Fu is also an expression for the thought of Fu theory,through the research of Liu Xizai classification to Fu to dig out the Fu theory hidden behind this classification.Liu Xizai classfied the Fu from different aspects,namely ancient Fu and secular Fu;Zhengge Fu and Biege Fu; Expressing will Fu and sarcasm Fu;romance Fu,dialectical Fu and Signing praise Fu. This classification embodies a diversity thinking that Liu Xizai’s understanding to Fu.Finally,in the third fourth chapter, studies on the contribution made by Liu Xizai to the research of Fu theory. Liu Xizai’s research to Fu is different from the previous study,who had special opinion in the Fu theory research and contributed significantly to the development of Fu theory. This chapter studies his contribution from3aspects:First,in Fu origin issues,he endowed a new point of view,which enlarged the research of Fu origin.Second,in Fu creation issues, he put the traditional image theory into Fu,studied on the subject-object relation,which influented the research of Fu importantly.Third, in Fu criticism issues,he put forward the new requirements to the Fu criticism standard,"authenticity"as the new standard for Fu criticism.They are the three significant contribution to the development of Fu theory made by Liu Xizai.
