This thesis is a more comprehensive study, discusses the consumption of themusic culture of the citizen in the Song Dynasty, summarizes its characteristics andconsumer attitudes. Focus related to the content described by the following points:The first chapter discusses the basic characteristics of music consumption andattitudes of citizen in Song Dynasty. It is showed popular and entertainingcharacteristics in musical consumption of citizen. Music culture consumption reflectsthe concept of equality of consumption.Cities of Song Dynasty have various entertainment place for the purpose of profit.They could be divided into the mobile, cyclical and fixed places probably.The music as a cultural commodity can be divided into physical forms of musicmerchandise and behavioral state of the music.The music business model was widespread in the music consumer market. It coulddivided into individual business, the troupe operation and operating of organizations.The process of urbanization took important effefct on the consumption of music inSong Dynasty. The changes in population composition and structure took a directimpact on people’s consumption of music. The induction of social practice, is caused byconsumption of internal reasons. Musical merchandise through the commercialoperation of the market to stimulate the people’s cultural consumption, so that theconsumer presents the characteristics of the public. The overall trend of society wasextravagant, also contributed to the frequent consumption. Consumption music culturein Song Dynasty showed the concept of equal.
