In the history of Chinese literary criticism, Su Shi is a critic whopossesses his own distinguishing characteristics. This paper attempts toexplore the impressionistic characteristics of Su Shi’s literary criticism style.At the same time, this paper discusses in detail that the concept ofConfucianism, Taoism and Buddhism affect Su Shi’s literary criticism styles.This literary criticism abounds in the traditional virtues of the Chinese nation、takes on a modern consciousness. Being a unity of aesthetics and scientificprinciple, it also has great enlightening significance to the contemporaryliterary criticism in China.In this paper, which is part of the introduction, this chapter discussesthe contributions and deficiencies of the modern scholars researching Su Shi’sliterature and then explaines two concepts of "style" and "Criticism Style".Finally the introduction discusses the important meaning in the history ofrearching on Su Shi’s literature theory that this paper resarches Su Shi’sliterary criticism styles.In this paper, the first chapter, the main exposition-style criticism fromthe text of the genre classification, in this part of the mainly from the Letter ofPreface and Postscript that in mind, reviews of the five sections to explain. In this paper, the second chapter describes the features of stylisticcriticism of Su Shi’s. This chapter is divided into four parts, followed bydiscussion of Su Shi’s Generic features of critical style, language features,style characteristics and Thought.In this paper, the third chapter discusses how the Confucianism、Taoismand Buddhism affect Su Shi’s literary criticism style. This chapter is dividedinto three parts: the first section of this chapter expresses howConfucianism affect Su Shi’s literary criticism style in realism aspect; SectionII describes how Taoism affects the smooth writing style of Su Shi’s criticismstyle; Section III discusses the Buddhist Thoughts how to affect Su Shi’scriticism style in ethereal mood and figurative language aspects.The fourth chapter discusses the stylistic Meaning of Su Shi’s criticismstyle. This chapter is divided into two parts: the first part is discussed theposition of Su Shi’s criticism style in Song dynasty; the second part discussesthat the freedom of Su Shi’s criticism style how to inspire contemporyLiterary critics.
