"true" Concept - Of Frege Is Analysed From The Perspective Of Realism

The main purpose of this paper is to analyze the notion of truth in Frege’s terminology from the perspective of realism. In this paper, I point out that Frege’s realist interpretation of truth plays a crucial role in his idea of logic and that the analysis of truth is very important to further our understanding of the theoretical sources of Frege’s theory.Based on firsthand data, combined with Chinese and foreign related literatures, this paper explores the theoretical background of Frege’s logicism, and further, analyzes the basic characteristics of truth by means of historical comparison.Also in this paper, I evaluate theoretical significance of Frege’s theory of truth and demonstrate his influences on later philosophy, especially on Dummett’s theory of meaning.
