In fact, the independent animation is still at the edge of Chinese animation industry. In order to confronting the invasion of commercial animation. the living and creation state of the original independent animators are very worthy of study.Therefore, this research focuses on the small and dispersed group of animators groups, and put great emphasis on the links between the network broadcasting platform and those animators, as well as the attempts of the new promotional model of their works.The article begins with the definition of independent animation, describes the history and current situation of domestic and international independent animation, and analyzes the trend which has been blending independent animation and commercial animation together.
