In1980s’China, society sharply changed. Literature is quietly prosperity, because of reform from political system, change from economic system and active of culture atmosphere. At this special time, a group of young writers star to create their own image to show their spiritual experience. During the development of Modern literature and the development of the young people characters in the novels, we need to pay more attention to discovering that the real situation of young people and the real inner spirit change of them. Because of that reason, this article, regarding the novels of young writers in1980s’China as the research object, try to reveal the inner spirit of this special group. The most important of the article is to prevent the concept called "youngization"of the past. Chapter1explores the background of social culture and the relationship between the writers and young image they created. Chapter2analyses the type of different young image. Chapter3studies characteristics that the image reflected. Chapter4makes a reflection to the phenomenon including the meaning of the young image and the lost of sprite. The innovation of this paper is to regard "young image"as the independent research object. Seeing the particularity of young people image as the foundation, we can reveal the real survival stance of young people and their real inner spiritual condition.
