It is more and more people that have been studing French popular accodion In accordion music field today. Richard Gary’s, the popular accordion leader, has made great contributions to the career of popular music. His music style and performing features has been worshiped and imitated by so many popular accodion scholars. The style of music,such as jazz, tango, new Miao Dorset and chamber music played most incisive by him,which has change the situation that the former chamber music only on guitar, percussion and string.Now, accordion also occupies the main status.The accordion music has changed in the decades, which from classical to pop, the rigorous, sedate style to the romantic, beautiful melody. The popular accordion of French music,which is a new kind of music,besides, it is a kind of national music which is romantic and beautiful, In adddition,it is rich in many elements of French style music that integrated with humanities, geography, history and so on.It is three chapters that to discuss the music style and performing features of Galliano by thisarticle.The chapter1: To introduce Galliano’s life and his works, and then to introduce his musicstyle and performing features through his works and the great influence about the style and features of Galliano’s music by piazzolla.The chapter2: Analyze every his styles of music and features of performing, such as jazz,tango, musette and chamber music. Firstly, for instance, jazz, we analyze changes oftempo, music and timbre. After that, we want to know that how to merge jazz into accordion, andhow to perform jazz by the feeling of music, the selection of register and the regulation of force.Finally, through the simple analysis of his compositions by the tempo, rhythm, the regulation offorce and musical form structure, we try to study Galliano’s stage presence and the performance ofpopular accordion.The chapter3: We discuss the feeling of popular accordion and experience of performance ofGalliano by the interview of him. Based on analysis in chapter2, we can realize that hiscontribution to popular accordion should not be ignored. The author tries to analyze the excellenceof popular accordion should not be ignored. The author this to analyze the excellence of popularaccordion music in France by the description of this extraordinary accordion artist’s assets.And theauthor also wants more Chinese Accordion artists study Galliano’s style in order to amelioratepopular accordion in China.
