The fragmentation of international law is more and more concerned by thescholars of international law, although different scholars hold different views aboutcertain aspects of the problem. This article discusses about some basic items of thetopic of fragmentation of international law, and holds that the problem is not only theconflict of rules of international law, but also has deep roots in the system ofinternational law. This article also discusses about the solution of the fragmentation ofinternational law, and holds that there are three main methods, namely the method ofselection of rules of law, the method of managing the hierarchy of rules of law, andthe method of systematic integration of the interpretation of treaties.
