Several Studies Credit Card Crime

In recent years, it is under heated discussion how to identify and avoid the credit card- related criminals, which is also a major issue in financial legislation. The author reviews the development of credit card, and introduces functions thereof. Through systemic analysis of domestic legislations on credit card crimes, historical development of credit card crimes shall be revealed. This thesis gives the following discussion on the aforementioned issue:In the first section, the definitions of "credit card", "credit card-related criminals" and some other terms are clarified.In the second section, the thesis presents some typical cases and discussed the essence and difference of credit card-related criminals.In the third section, through reflecting on the risks in the credit card operation, the thesis makes an attempt to dig up the reason why this kind of criminal is of frequent occurrence in China.In the last section, suggestions are made on how to avoid and control the risks in the credit card operation, taking into consideration the problems in the financial practice. Detailed suggestions on the legislation of credit card-related criminals are also given in the thesis.
