Rules Of Criminal Evidence Research

Rules of criminal evidence is an important part of the system of criminal evidence, which plays a key role in criminal procedure. At present, China is constantly strengthening the awareness of human rights protection while accelerating the construction of a socialist country ruled by law and actively promoting the trial reform. Under the circumstance, establishing and perfecting the rules of criminal evidence is becoming more and more significant. From the definition of evidence and rules of evidence, rules of evidence and evidence system and the relation of criminal procedure patterns, this paper will, through the theory, practice, difference and development of those countries ruled by two major legal systems, analyzes the present legislative status and major defects of rules of criminal evidence in our country and then gives some suggestions and opinions on establishing and perfecting the system of rules of criminal evidence.
