After the joint efforts of the Government and all citizens, in afew decades, Singapore has made achievements attracted worldwide attention. Singapore hasachieved a qualitative leap, from a colonial countries full of turmoil and anxiety,contradictions and conflicts, poverty and dirty to now a garden city with the beautiful and rich,stable and harmonious, which is the result of the correct leadership of the Singapore People’sAction Party and hard work of all citizens, and more the results of implementing the spirit ofpragmatism in the long-term nation-building practice. The pragmatic policy of Singapore’snational education for rapid growth of economy, politics, culture trained a number of reserveforces with ability and political integrity, which protected the country to take the path ofdevelopment with Singapore characteristics.The development of national education and the formation of pragmatic spirit inSingapore, are inextricably linked with the special situation in Singapore, and are theintegration of multi-cultural essence, and are also the choice of development of the socialpractice.
