In recent years, the number of the criminal cases committed by servicemen has generally declined; the violent crimes have been effectively reduced. However, as the market economy develops, the level of openness and information of the military camps has gradually increased and the criminal cases concerned both the army and the local government have also increased. New types of crimes of various kinds have emerged. The prevention of crime in army has taken an important role in the round-way construction of army. It has been an important assurance of consolidating and improving the combat effectiveness and successfully fulfilling the tasks.The thesis is divided into the following four parts. In the introduction, the author describes the overall condition of the prevention of crime and states that the prevention of crime has taken an important role in the round-way construction of the army. It has been the significant base of highly concentrated, unified and safe army. It has been an important assurance of consolidating and improving the combat effectiveness and successfully fulfilling the tasks.In Chapter one, the author gives definition of the prevention of crime in army. The author exactly defines and analyzes the main tasks of the prevention, the basic principles and the significance of the prevention of crime in army, and introduces the primary measures in the prevention of crime in army.In chapter two, according to the actual situation at work and the problems existing in the implement of the prevention, the author analyses the prevention of political cases, the prevention of cases of steal of bullets and guns, the prevention of economic crimes (crimes by taking the advantage of duty), the conversion of certain people, the prevention of crimes in the small organization in cities.
