To Analyze The Chinese Overseas Economic Interests In Geo-Economic Perspective

The fields Chinese which overseas economic interests are involved in are extensive, and this issue is extremely complicated and systematic. So, it is hard to explain this issue using a theoretical system. This paper tries to macroscopically expound on this issue in a way which is the combination of realism and geopolitics. The basic theoretical hypnoses are:first, the theme of the times is peace and development; second, the state is still a main actor, which plays a more and more important role in external economic activities, and there is difference among states; third, the international community is anarchic, and the dependence between states is deepened. The detailed theoretical hypnoses are as follows:first, Chinese overseas economic interests can be crystalized and quantified, and can be increased or decreased; second, Chinese overseas economic interests depend on the situations of modern China, which are characteristic of the fact that overseas economic interests serve the national economy, politics and social development, that is, need determines interests and environment affects decision-making; third, overseas interests are subject to administration, whose aim is to maintain or increase overseas interests, especially core and vital overseas interests; the subject is diplomatic organs which represent the state. In addition, the three clues through the paper are energy safety, geographic arrangement and state interests, among which the outlook of state interests in realism is the hidden clue, the standard of diplomatic decision making and strategic decision making is whether they are beneficial to the maximization of the state interests.
