Telecommunications Industry In Our Country Anti-monopoly Law Regulation Research

Telecom industry is the public utilities which related to the national welfare and thepeople’s livelihood. In the theme of breaking the monopoly and introducing thecompetition, telecom industry carried on a new round of reform. Effective competitionin telecom industry can help to develop the three network convergence and3Gtechnology, which can supply better service for people. But, the conducts ofmaintaining monopoly and resisting competition often happen in telecom industry.Monopoly behaviors have not only threatened the effective competitive seriously, butalso damaged consumer’s rights and interests. How to regulate monopoly behaviorseffectively have become the problems which need to be deeply thought and be solvedurgently. This paper introduces the reform and development, sketchs monopolybehaviors about the telecom industry, and then analysis the status that our laws are hawto regulate the monopoly behaviors. Finally, the paper proposes some suggestions toimprove the legal regulation of anti-monopoly by drawing at home and abroad legalregulation on telecom industry.
