Thomas Hobbes was a British political scientist, philosopher, founder of the British rationalist tradition, he was the first Enlightenment thinkers of the bourgeoisie who developed national contract theory based on the natural rights theory. Hobbes developed a unique view of human nature, he believed that human nature was egoistic, although this cannot be considered to be evil. But in his point of view without the authority of the state, people will be inevitably under the situation that everybody was under the state of war. Hobbes created a new theory of natural rights which was in the view of human nature, according to Hobbes, human right was born with, which was to protect the people’s birthright and produced obligations. Obligation as a rule, which role was to make human rights. Hobbes’s theory of natural rights was not only achieved with the classical theory of natural rights of fracture, for his "people" concern itself had opened a new chapter in the political science. Just because of the view of human nature, Hobbes believes that natural rights are subjective desires which are without rebuke. The nature rights theory links people and his national theory, and makes his theory into a coherent, well-structured unified whole. Bring the Hobbes’s idea of natural rights theory to the discussion, not only has the important practical significance, but also has important value of theory. This paper attempts to identify the ideological origins of Hobbes’s idea of natural rights, then make clear the meaning of the theory of human natural rights. And at last I want to find out the influence of Hobbes’s on later generation scholars, and make a more objective evaluation。...
