Never had Socialism been dogmas, but on the contrary, it was, and is, adapting itself to the ever-changing environments. Many necessary revisions were employed, along its evolution from theoretical origins to established regimes, however, the deep-lying logics beneath the surface still needs to be clear up, and this is the focus of this dissertation. This dissertation starts from the analysis of classic Marxist theories, with the explanation of their theoretical origins. Moreover, the author also tries to unfold Marxist principles and tactics on Socialism, and furtherly, the core of Marist Values--"free and overall development of human beings".A short review of the Soviet history will be given, in order to better assess Lenin’s "Triumph of One Country", while the "Weltrevolution" and the personality cults will also be discussed. The fate of Socialism will be reviewed in the macro-context of Soviet-Western institutional competition.China is the orthodox heir of Marxism, although the advance of that theory in China were following a zigzag passage. Socialism with Chinese characteristics, is the progressive combination of Marxist universal values and China’s practices, and this riches and develops Marxism.Socialism derives its historical inevitability, from the Marxism’s accordance with the truth of human societies’ development. And Socialism with Chinese characteristics, is the inevitable choice of Marxism self-improvement.
