Mandatory segregation drug treatment as a new-immerging way has four chief measures:education, management, labor and drug treatment which are different from labor reeducation treatment.Mandatory segregation drug treatment regarded as the thermometer of social contradiction can reflect to some extent the whole situation of social politic, economy, social development and public order. During the implementation of mandatory segregation drug treatment, there are also some problems such as the effectiveness of drug treatment and safety as well as stability of places, and all these problems need to be solved through research. Therefore, start in-depth researches on representative sites has important theoretical and practical significance.A drug addiction treatment center listed in2008, which made some achievements in social adaptation training, vocational skills training and psychological treatment. However it still has problems, such as forced labor, neglect of education, poor management and lack enough protection of rights of inmates. In fact, the causes of these problems are manifold, there are reasons in some defective provisions of Drug Law, as well as some defects in sites or inmates themselves. To change this situation, it is a must to refine the "anti-drug laws," transform the concept in discipline, make good use of procuratorial reception room and fully play its role of law enforcement and supervision, effectively carry out educational work to improve the treatment effect.
