Little Triangle Theory-Based Inspection Of Rural Georahical Names In Beizhen

The phenomenon of Geographical names is an important part in the area of linguistic, ofwhich the rural geographical names consists of the vital part and is assumed to be focusedmore. The previous researches, mainly covering the study of municipal and rural geographicalnames, have not dedicated to those of the rural names in Beizhen. From the perspective ofLittle Triangle Thoery, the rural geographical names in Beizhen of30years are observed andstudied in this article. In the view of linguistic outside form, the syllables are characterized bythree-syllable model which is in conformity with Chinese level and oblique regular pattern,and its vocabulary source is closely related to the local culture and geography, and its lexicalstructure is composed of proper name and general name; from the inside form, they are fullof impressive innovations and stylistics; in the view of pragmatic value, they are enrichedwith plenty of cultural information which is brought by the development of social andeconomical change. In addition, lots of homophones, phonetic words and non-standardvocabulary cause the inconvenience for daily life, which need the corresponding norms toconform to.
