| In recent years, the cases of civil execution have been gradually increasing in China. The problems, such as the difficulty of execution and the disorder of execution, have become very common and made all walks of the society be deeply concerned about the execution. The causes for these problems are various. One of the important factors is the lack of effective external supervision of the execution of the court. Therefore, the participation of the prosecutorial organization in supervising the civil execution has been attached much importance in the society. In practice, the prosecutorial organization has implemented the supervision of the civil execution in judiciary and has got positive results. The thesis begins with the concept of the inspection and supervision of civil execution, compares and analyzes the legislation on the inspection and supervision of civil execution in the countries of the two legal families, and their enlightenment to the inspection and supervision of civil execution of China.
