Compensation satisfaction is always the most direct and significant element which takes a great influence on efficiency and accomplishments. Theoretically, researchers abroad have been studying systematically in this area for more than forty years, and resulted in the proper method during their relative research on employees of companies. Besides, China’s research starts recently, and it is taking an active role in this field. In China, compensation system for government officials is the hot but sensitive topic. And, because the government’s non-profit character, there is barely research on the officials’compensation satisfaction through the multidimensional research method. Practically, Service-oriented government has become the basic objective of government reform at this stage. The public status of government is very important. However, corruption keeps bothering, especially the far fundamental sections where the central can hardly reach. The fundamental officials are the group that faces directly to the residents, which means the public status is decided mostly by this fundamental group. It also means, the act and attitude of this group are mostly take a direct influence on the public satisfaction, and even closely related to the country’s stability in some ways.Accordingly, it is significant to analyze fundamental officials’compensation satisfaction by multidimensional research method both theoretically and practically. It helps to find right ways to encourage fundamental officials to work with more effort and activity, and then, results in stability improvement and good public status of fundamental government. And it also improves the harmony, stability, and solidarity of the whole society.Author’s research is based on the former researches about compensation satisfaction and officials’compensation system. Through the compensation satisfaction survey and analysis on fundamental officials in SD, author deeply discovered the effect factors and real reasons, and then, concluded the left problems of this compensation reformation. What author concluded can be used for further researches on how to improve satisfaction and measurements for the next compensation reformation. In addition, this research is made up for the theory basis, survey and its analysis, conclusion and expectation, totally three sections.In the theory basis section, this research find a new worth trying method by reading and analyzing former accomplishments on compensation satisfaction and officials’compensation system and management. This brand new method is to apply the foreign classic research measurement with our officials’compensation satisfaction study. Additionally, in survey and analysis section, it is mainly about the details of author’s research. By analyzing questionnaire data and interviewing for further situations that the questionnaire can not reach, author discovered deep effect factors and unsatisfactory reasons from multi-aspects, and concluded left problems of this compensation reform, and finally pointed the direction for suggestion research. This research can be divided into two sections. One is the research on the latest compensation system which is clearly clarified in relative official regulations, and conclusions about the possible threatens to officials’ compensation satisfaction. The other section is the questionnaire design and data analysis. The questionnaire is based on the pay satisfaction questionnaire and modified according to the character of fundamental officials which is closely related to their profession. This conclusion on their characters is based on the research accomplishment of author’s bachelor’s degree thesis. After the detailed data analysis and further interview, and finally, reach the conclusions which offer realistic proof for the next officials’compensation reform measurements in the future.The last section is the conclusion and expectation, In this section, author conclude the accomplishment in this research and make the expectation for further study about suggestions on fundamental officials’compensation satisfaction.
