Popularity: The Core Connotation Of Chinese Marxism

With the development of our economy and society,subjective consciousness of people is highlighted morethan before and people-related issues have been paidgreat attention to. In academia, there are an increasingnumber of researches in “human being” and “people”.“Affinity to the people” as a concept of deliveringsubjects of people and Human Values, is a red linerunning all the way through the development of theChinese Marxism, and contained in the theories ofChinese Modeled Marxism. Research into the “affinityto the people” in the Chinese Modeled Marxism, is notonly helpful in deepening our understanding of ChineseModeled Marxism, but also meaningful in practicing the“people oriented” idea.This article makes a systematic analysis andinterpretation of the “affinity to the people” in theChinese Modeled Marxism both in theory and practice,especially mining the meaning in Mao Zedong Though inorder to ponder over and practice the idea of“people-oriented” idea in the view of scientificdevelopment in modern China.There are three parts in this article.Firstly,theoretical analysis of the “affinity to thepeople”. In general sense, all the advanced class,Social Stratification, individuals etc are within thefield of “people”,however,it varies and is enrichedin concrete culture and social background.Then, systematic analysis of the “affinity to thepeople” in Mao Zedong Thought.Mr. Mao Zedong proposed“serve the people heart and soul” as our party aim, which is the first time that the concept of “people”in Marxism connected with Chinese realities. It alsoreflects the deep meaning of “affinity to the people”and can be examined from different dimensions such ascentral values, purpose,system,practice etc.Finally,“affinity to the people” in the systemof the Chinese specific socialist theory.＂help raisepeople’s living standards＂is one of the＂threeadvantages＂, suggested by Mr. Den Xiaoping, which isthe reversion, deepening and development of our partyaim.“Affinity to the people” is better sorted in thepractice of Chinese specific socialist. Then Threerepresents proposed by Mr. Jiang Zeming definite that“Represents the fundamental interests of theoverwhelming majority of the Chinese people”, which isera and connects the “affinity to the people” withinstitutional construction of our party in a better way.In this new period, Mr. Hu Jingtao put forward theimportant view of “Scientific outlook on development”,in which “people-oriented” plays as the body. Itendows “people” with more sheen of humanity, expandsin value aspect and even realizes “affinity to thepeople” through “establishing a harmonious socialistsociety”.The “affinity to the people” in Mao Zedong Thoughtis closely connected with the Chinese specific socialisttheory. They are both in the same line as Marxism on themasses interpretation of history and the People’scomprehensive and free development theory. The later onenot only carries on the core idea of the former, but alsoinnovated and developed especially in the way to realize“affinity to the people” according to the social realities.
