Application Of Data Mining Technology In The Criminal Cases Information Analysis

With the construction and the application of the Golden Shield, a large number oforiginal data on criminal cases have been accumulated in public security organs at alllevels. How to use the information technology and find laws in more data so as toimprove the rate of detection becomes a practical subject with great significance.On the base of the technology of data mining and with the help of the databaseSQL Server2000, this paper first solves the problem of data preprocessing, that is totransform a large number of data not applicable for mining to the applicable ones byways of cleaning, generalization and discrete continuous attributes. Then based on theassociation rules, the improved Apriori algorithm is studied emphatically, through theoptimization of pruning and connection,improved the algorithms’s operation efficiencygreatly,this paper gives an analysis of the records of the criminal cases in the recentthree years in a division of Xinjiang corps and results in connecting certain linksbetween the types of cases and the suspect’s age, occupation, residence, educationallevels. Using ID3algorithm, based on the information gain, constructed for the core incase category crime analysis decision tree, and crime analysis of the model thatinterprets the evaluation. Finally this paper developed a small design of criminal datamining system model, verified the realization of algorithm,this offerd the new methodfor the data mining association rules to be used in public security information analysisof Xinjiang corps, and expand the scope of application of this technology.
