Stand economy is the product when human history has developed to certain stage. However, over the years, scholars home and abroad, merely took research into village fair, focusing on the macro problems, such as fair function and transition, while hardly took research into micro contrast of related subject of city fair. But there is significant amount of city fair, making this study especially emerge and necessary. The existence and development of city stand economy is necessary. It positively promotes the socialist economic construction, while also imposes negative influence. Therefore, we should correctly understand and handle the dual function of stand economy, fostering its strengths and circumventing its weakness.The author took fair in Li Cun as an example, demonstrating its evolution history, practical significance, administration and related policy, the basic condition of managers and consumers and existing problems. As for the basic condition of managers and consumers, a large amount of information was collected in investigation. Also, the characters, the behavior, the attitude of the main subject in fair, mainly referring to the consumers and managers, was analyzed, and contrast research was performed. With contrast research, the influencing factors for the difference between different main subjects were demonstrated. In specific comparison and analysis, firstly, as for the character of consumers and managers, the author mainly performed the comparison and analysis in territorial source, class character such as education level, career, and average monthly income. Secondly, as for the behavior of consumers and managers, the behavior related with fair process was analyzed. For example, the history, frequencies, influence factors and purpose of going to the fair. Thirdly, as for the attitude of consumers and managers, their attitude for the management of fair, their evaluation to each other, their attitude for the existence of fair, as well as their understanding of the current problems of the fair and their suggestions for the further development was taken into research. Obviously, this study has some immature points of view and some needs to be examined and confirmed in the city fair of a larger area. In this point, this study may assist the future research.
