The police’s power is one of the most important public powers. It has an effect on social lives. In order to avoid the abuse of police’s powers, the mechanisms of the internal supervision have been set up in the world. There are some defects in the mechanisms of internal supervisions in our country, such as not paying important attention in the mind, not perfect of agency settings and staff, as well as some defects in the systems.The practices of internal supervision of police’s powers in some foreign country or area have been analyzed and then the references have been summarized firstly in the last two parts. And then solutions about the defects in the internal supervision in our country are brought up according to the problems proposed in the last part. The solutions contain to make sure the application principles and to reform the settings of agencies and staff as well as to perfect the legal systems. The author expects to provide some effective methods for the improvement of the internal supervision of police’s powers in our country in order to limit the powers and ensure the effect of police’s powers through the article.
