Class-Stratum-Order Group

Class, an old theme, has been constantly developing with the company of human society since the private ownership emerged. But with the developments of productive forces and society, human beings have come into the era of modern society where the class conflicts tend to mitigate. In the post-industrial society, the economic criterion is not enough for measuring and analyzing classes, instead many new and diverse standards are taken into consideration and the scholars try to study the internal segmentations of class. The concept of stratum is generated in the period. In the process of the subdivision of class, the positive meaning of the middle class has gradually aroused the scholars’interest.After reviewing the history and current situation of class, this paper comms out its generation and evolution and analyzes the differences and connections between them. And then in the background of cultural diversity, the concept of order group is put forward. In the fourth part of the paper, on the basis of the comparison between the analysis methods of class and stratum, the paper’s own social structure analysis method——the view of order group is put forward. In the end, the author will use the new view of order group to analyze the social structure and then discusses the positive role of the middle order group.After the comprehensive understanding of the meaning of class, stratum and order group, the paper will discuss about the cultivation of the middle order group and it will focus on the social problems such as the income of middle order group is not high, its size is small, how multicultural it is, etc.
