The formation of the theory, which analyzes the comprehensive development of humanbeings, has undergone numerous tests of practice, setting countless crystallization of thewisdom of predecessors. As a scientific theoretical system, its role is not only reflected in theunique perspective when we look at a real problem, but also reflects in solving many existingsocial problems. This paper, which attempts to analyze this theory as a whole, finds a way toanalyze the educational problems of contemporary farmers, which is in order to examine theproblem of farmers’ education and try to seek for the constructive solution.Human development, as the object of study, is not contemporary proposed, as early as inancient Greece and China pre-Qin period, many thinkers had raised the insights. Goingthrough the long ruling of the Church in Medieval, the Renaissance thinkers affirmed themain position of human beings and made a wide-ranging and useful discussion on humandevelopment. Utopian socialists started from the criticism of the drawbacks of the prevailingsocial system, to promote human development advocates, most of these claims shiningwisdom lights. Marx, on the basis of the existing practical experience and theoreticalsummary, proposed the comprehensive development of theory, whose main contents isincluding the comprehensive development of human practice, comprehensive generation ofhuman social relations, the overall development of human capacity, and the free developmentof human personality. In order to practice the overall development of people, we must rely onthe development of productive forces, social system reform and the revitalization of theeducationEducation can directly change the subjective world, and realize the development of theindividual’s quality. Education is responsible for the inheritance and development of thehuman knowledge and experience, in the most effective and most direct way. To realize theall-round development of man, the first thing we can do is to develop education career.Farmers are part of the overall development of the human beings, so does the comprehensivedevelopment of farmers. Theory of human’s comprehensive development of farmers’education provides the theoretical guidance, and at the same time, the farmers’ education isalso the soil for the theory of human’s comprehensive development. The ultimate goal offarmers’ education is to realize the comprehensive development of man.Their comprehensive qualities include the cultural quality, scientific and technological literacy, moral training, political sense, legal consciousness, manageable level, body qualityand so on. The paper, based on the practical research, intuitively show the contemporaryproblems existing in the education of China’s farmers. The dilemma of farmers’ education iscaused by the farmers’ own factors, government factors, social environment factors andeducation mechanism factors combined.To improve the quality of farmers, education is essential to the development of farmers’education. The political goal to construct the socialist new rural also needs to develop thefarmers’ education career. Farmers’ education is an important element to realize the human’scomprehensive development. On the basis of fully analysis of the contemporary difficulties offarmers in China, this paper puts forward five feasible measures to develop farmers’ education:updating education concept, increasing the investment in education, perfecting educationmechanism, strengthening education management, and promoting the education fair.
