After the World War II, the new nationalism had raised severaltimes. It dived below the political surface in1960s butcouldn’t flow up until Yasuhiro Nakasone took charge in Japanin1980s’.‘Total accounts of past-war politic’ means thepolitic of Japan had begun a new age. Ichiro Ozawa gave a conceptof ‘ordinary nationalism’ in his book ‘the changing plan ofJapan’ in1990s while the new nationalism rose up rapidlyinside Japan.This essay has certain positively theoretical and practicalfunction towards observing the direction of Japanese newnationalism with the view of ‘ordinary nationalism’.There are total six parts of this article: Part One. The guide part mostly explains the significance,situation, means and status of research, also the frames of theessay.Part Two. Explain the core conceptions such as ‘ordinarynationalism’,‘normal state’, and the logical relationsinside of new nationalism in order to figure out the differencesbetween the extreme nationalism pre-war and new nationalismpost-war. This part also contains the analysis of somerepresented theories of it.Part Three. Analyze the main sentences and characters ofordinary nationalism. This part has focused on the means,spiritual base and the theoretical characters of the ordinarynationalism.Part Four. Analyze the practice of ordinary nationalism inJapan. This part has focused on the status that how Japan triedto make itself a great power in the view of ‘normalnationalism’.Part Five. This part try to give a future of ‘normalnationalism’ from the current situation of it while introducethe condition of recent twenty years. Part Six. This part contains the conclusion and thesuggestion. After World War II, the ‘ordinary nationalism’has developed be a main theory of new nationalism which Japanwanted to use in order to become a great power. And suggest someitems of the economic relations between China and Japan.
