The recognition and enforcement of inter-regional judgments in UK will be divided into three parts and presented in this thesis. And what China could earn from it will be discussed followed.In the first part, the meaning and development of the recognition and enforcement of inter-regional judgments in UK will be described. Firstly, the definitions of inter-regional, the recognition and enforcement, especially the recognition separating from the enforcement are introduced, respectively. And the exact meaning of inter-regional judgments will be defined followed. Then the formation context of the three legal districts in UK and the relationship between the inter-regional judgments and foreign judgments will be presented.The second part is to make a statement of the source of law in the system of the recognition and enforcement of inter-regional judgments in UK. The common law system applied in UK is an important source of law in a long history. At the meantime, as a contracting state of EU, the1968Brussels Convention is also an important part. Furthermore, the statute which was made in1982called Civil Jurisdiction and Judgments Act1982is of the most importance in the system of recognition and enforcement of inter-regional judgments in UK.The third part is to show the specific regulations of the system of recognition and enforcement of inter-regional judgments in UK. On the basis of the Civil Jurisdiction and Judgments Act1982, the system in accordance with the Section18of1981Act will be explained in general, and then the "money judgments" and "non-money judgments" specifically as to Schedule6and7will be discussed, respectively.At last, what could be followed by China from this system, and how to progress the system of China on the inter-regional conflict of law will be discussed.
