Since1982, with the rapid development of legal education and the deepening research of the Civil Procedure Law, nearly150versions of the undergraduate textbooks of Civil Procedure Law have been published. The number of Editors and publication has been increasing sharply, which has fully reflected the prosperity of textbooks, just like the old saying,"All schools of thoughts contend and all flowers bloom". For the purpose of estimating the developing trend of the textbooks accurately and providing statistical reference of the subsequent textbooks, the author mainly uses the "quantitative analysis" methods to elaborate the point, which is based on the statistics, including questionnaires for students and teachers. However, with the deepening of the research, some "risks" which are hidden behind the prosperity, have appeared. This article mainly consists of the following four parts. The first part is "overall review:a brief history of the undergraduate textbooks of Civil Procedure Law". In this part, the author divides the textbook’s history into two parts, according to the enactment of the code of civil procedure law. Later, the author summarizes the development of30-year textbooks from a macro perspective. The second part is "situation review:a statistical analysis of the undergraduate textbooks of Civil Procedure Law". On one hand, the author compares and analyzes the one hundred and forty-nine textbooks form the structural, content, and typical perspective; on the other hand, she also provides questionnaires to five hundred students and fifteen teachers. Through the above analysis, the author manages to know the civil procedure law of undergraduate textbooks in all domains. The third part is "issue stating:the fundamental evaluations of the undergraduate textbooks of Civil Procedure Law". There is no doubt that the30-year prosperity of the textbooks, but we have to admit that these textbooks have their own problems, such as "single form","various qualities"The last part is "path choice:the different prospects of the undergraduate textbooks of Civil Procedure Law". The author spares no efforts to solve the problems and to propose some reasonable and practical countermeasures, but the solutions are still hung in the air owing to her limited capacity. Maybe it depends on the following research.
