Since the Seventeenth CPC National Congress has proposed the scientificproposition that “to promote the popularization of the contemporary ChineseMarxism”, the study of Marxism is on the wave of popularity. The study of traditionalculture, has always been the focus of academic research, especially as the promotionof China’s comprehensive national strength and the appearance of a new round of "the crazy for the traditional Chinese culture", the traditional culture of research has setoff a frenzy. This article is based on the traditional culture (mainly Confucian culture),to study Marxist popularization on the dimension of the conversion and creation oftraditional culture, on the one hand, to dig deep heritage and broad vitality oftraditional culture and to explore the survival space of the traditional culture in thepresent times, on the other hand, to use China’s own voice and language to expressand communicate contemporary Marxist theory form, so as to enrich and developMarxism more effectively and to promote Marxist popularization.There are five chapters. Chapter Ⅰ is introduction which includes the mainresearch background, the theoretical and practical significance of the topics, thecurrent conditions of traditional culture and Marxist popularization, research status,research ideas, research methods, possible innovations and difficulties. Chapter Ⅱfirst identifies the concept of the culture, the traditional culture (this article refers justto the Confucian culture, although the meanings of traditional culture isn’t which theConfucian culture can cover, the Confucian culture is indeed the most typical), theconversion and creation of traditional culture, then analyzes the relationship betweenthe conversion and creation of traditional culture and Marxist popularization. Majortopics of chapter Ⅲ involve essences of the traditional culture. Although thetraditional culture is located of the Confucian culture, it is still a huge project which issumming up the essences. The chapter spreads out expositions from five aspects: therelationship between man and nature, human and society, interpersonal relationships,the relationship between people and their future social vision. Chapter Ⅳ is the focusof this article. Telling about the enrichment and development of Marxistpopularization from the view of the conversion and creation of traditional culture.Corresponding to the contents of the previous chapter, this chapter mainly spreads outfrom five aspects: from harmony of man and nature to scientific development, fromharmonious society to harmonious world, from group standard to real collectivism, from Internal Saint﹠External King to personal accomplishment in socialism,from well-off society to communism ideal society. Chapter Ⅴ tells the theoreticalenlightenments and practical significances that the conversion and creation oftraditional culture brings to promote Marxist popularization, providing experiencesand references for Marxist popularization from theory and practice aspectsrespectively.
