On the basis of in-depthinterpretation and analysis Chen Weishi’s theoretical results, the paper tries to breakthrough the current studies about Chen Weishi and his philosophy studies, elaboratesin the round, and fair evaluated his contribution of the popularization of Marxistphilosophy in the20th century.Chen Weishi’s popularization of Marxist philosophy course can be roughlydivided into four periods. From late1935until1937October, Chen Weishi is inShanghai. And this period is the first period of Chen Weishi’s popularization ofMarxist philosophy course. In Shanghai period, Chen Weishi starts to engage in thework of the popularization of Marxist philosophy. From October1937to November1938is the second period-Wuhan-Linfen period. Chen Weishi continues to engagein the work of the popularization of the Marxist philosophy. And in this period histheoretical level is to reach a new level. From November1938to August1945is thethird period-the Yan’an period. In this period, Chen Weishi implements directly intothe center of the spread of Marxist philosophy-Yan’an. The fourth period-theperiod of Guangzhou is from August1949to January1974. In the period Chen Weishi puts fully energy into colleges and universities of Marxist philosophy andtheoretical education. His attention is focused on the political and ideologicaleducation of young students. Chen Weishi’s philosophical activities in each periodare from reality. His theories are in close connection with reality to make thephilosophical generalization and reflection. And these theories are generated in therequirements of the times and the needs of the masses of the people.PartⅠis the introduction. Regarding popularization context of the philosophy ofMarxism in the1930s as the starting point, this part briefly comments on the ChenWeishi’s main theoretical work and his contribution of the Popularization of MarxistPhilosophy in this period. And this part explains the practical significance in-depthdiscussion of Chen Weishi spreading the philosophy of Marxism. On this basis, itproposes the research theme--Chen Weishi Marx dissemination of Marxistphilosophy course.PartⅡ: The part sums up Chen Weishi’s main philosophical activities in thisperiod.
