The Current Situation Of Volunteer Organizations In China And The Professional Development Countermeasure Research

From the1970s, volunteer organization has been springing up all over the world, whichgradually becomes an important power in social development. In recent years, with the conceptof civil society and the development of the third department, China raised the climax of thesocial reform, In1990s, voluntary organizations mainly of young people developed, Being asupplement of the national and market functions，In the past several decades，Chinas voluntaryservice has achieved a great deal in the fields of youth voluntary service，community volunteerservice, grass groups volunteer service and international volunteer service.But volunteer activityin China is still in the early stage, there is a large gap between China’s volunteer organizationsand foreign, in new situation, it is very important for us how to develop the voluntary serviceeffectively.This article first elaborate the emergence and development of China volunteer organization,the volunteer organization is the result of reform and open policy, which developed in thespecific economic, political and social environment of our country, and according to the actualcondition of our country, the volunteer organization is divided in three stages: the initialconstruction stage, a comprehensive construction phase, construction phase. Then mainlyintroduces the present state, including the achievements and existing problems in operation, themain problems are: the lack of social support and public attention; less than independence, lackof independent space; team construction is not stable, volunteer service is in a non-professionalstate; voluntary service law lack of effectiveness. According to the existing problems, analyzesthe related reasons. The fourth part mainly introduces the development situation of European andAmerican’s volunteer organization, and through comparative analysis, to summarize someprofessional development experience as follows which can promote China’s volunteerorganizations: scientific management mode; health and integrated system; pay attention toinvestment in education. Building the harmonious society puts forward the new requirements tothe volunteer organization, how to continue to play the role of volunteer organizations, and makethe volunteer organizations embarked on the path of professional development, we must makefull use of government resources, achieve government and volunteer organizations is interactive,effectively promote volunteer activities of society process, improve the scientific managementlevel of volunteer organization and perfect incentive mechanism, and constantly promote ourvolunteer into direction of specialization and occupation.
