Youth Ideological And Political Education Environment Optimization Study Of Mass Media

Ancient and modern, Chinese and foreign, the relationship between education and theenvironment has always been the focus which educators and thinkers research and attention,so it has formed a system of research results. With the economic development and socialprogress, the ideological and political education of youth is facing more complex educationalenvironment. What’s more, the formation and development of the mass media environment isa prominent new feature or a new situation. More than30years reform and opening up, thechina mass media has made considerable development and built a three-dimensional massmedia information network, by which people are surrounded everywhere and all the times.The mass media environment has become the air of the modern life, so it formed aphenomenon that people cannot be separated from the mass media environment, and alsocannot find any noticeable negative effects underlie it. Especially in modern times, the massmedia has become the primary factor affecting young people’s socialization, coupled with theyoung people have not yet matured in the mind and thought.Naturally, they are vulnerable tobe affected by the profound impact of the mass media environment. It can be said that themass media environment make the young people’s ideological and political education facegreat opportunities and severe challenges. To enhance the actual effect of young people’sideological and political education, to cultivate the real talents which the country needs, it isnecessary to study the mass media environment of young people’s ideological and politicaleducation, to build a scientific optimization system, which is imperative.According to the basic principles and theories of ideological and political education,communication studies, psychology and other related disciplines, this research combed andbased on the results of previous studies firstly. After that, combined with my own thinking andresearch, it is divided into three parts. The first part is the foundation of the whole study. Firstof all, it defines the important concepts, such as the environment, the youth, the mass mediaenvironment, etc. Then, it provides an overview of the development process of mass media,meanwhile, focuses on the function of ideological and political education which the massmedia have, including guidance of public opinion, communication and cultural transmission,etc. then specifically discussed the general characteristics of the mass media environment andits roles in the youth ideological and political education. The second part does athree-dimensional scanning and analysis of the status of the mass media environment ofyoung people’s ideological and political education. Starting from combing the youth’sphysical, psychological and ideological characteristics, we will have a true understanding andmaster of contemporary young people. Next, it analyzes and summaries the characteristics ofthe mass media, and then analyzes the present situation which the contemporary youth contactthe mass media seriously, the analysis is based on three aspects, media contact, contactmotivation and media cognitive. Based on the above, it reveals the status of youth medialiteracy, and finally explained in detail the double impacts which the mass media impressedon the behavior of youth and youth ideological and political education, while it is discussing the dialectical relationship between the mass media environment and youth ideological andpolitical education. The third part is the focus and difficult of this study. On the basis of thefirst two parts, this section discourses the optimal path of the mass media environment ofyoung people’s ideological and political education, from the macro and micro levels, thenbuild a three-dimensional optimal system. That is to say, we propose the optimal concepts andstrategies in many ways, such as strengthening the system construction, the construction ofnew systems, enhancing the Internal strength of mass media, playing the dynamic roles ofyouth ideological and political education and developing the media literacy education,forming the joint force of optimization etc. It reflects a combination of theory and practice. Inaddition to, each aspect is expounded in different angles respectively, which ensure thecomprehensive, systematic, targeted of the optimal countermeasures.
