Modern globalization has forced developed countries to work tightly with developing countri-es in fields like economy and culture; however, developed countries use their advantage positions in economy, are exercising their influences in cultural domination, and thus are still controlling d e-veloping countries economically and culturally with invisible hands. Even though former coloni e-s gained their independency, they still have a very weak voice.China gains more strength as globalization expands, during this process, China is still suppressed by western countries in economy and culture, judging upon by western standards created by western system. Intellectual property rights have played a more important role in modern economy, the constitutio n and implementation of intellectual property rights and intellectual property rights disputes arous e thereafter could be traced and rooted deeply in international neocolonialism.This article is to illu strate that postcolonial and intellectual property rights protections are products of international ca pitalist economy in different stages, they two faces of one coin.
