Path Exploration Of Identity Of Socialist Core Value System Under Multicultural Context

For every country and nation, the core value system occupies the leading position in the ideology, and it is the spiritual pillar of a country or a nation to condense development strengths, to establish development goals, to formulate development strategies and to maintain social harmony. As a value system established on the basis of the socialist economy, the socialist core value system involves in all aspects of economics, politics, culture, society and ecology. And it embodies the essence of socialist ideology, and it is a spirit flag to guide the direction of the Chinese nation, a spiritual motive force to promote the development of economic and social in an all-round way. a spiritual bond to maintain the unity and harmony in the whole society. Therefore, the most important task for the construction of socialist ideology is:strengthening the attraction, appeal and cohesion of the socialist core value system, so as to promote identity of the socialist core value system in the broad masses of people.Nowadays, multi-culture has become a basic fact of the development of world culture and the basis of the cultural development in China, and multiple way of life, values and ideology has been undergoing unprecedented exchange, collision, conflict and integration. Multi-culture provides rich soil to the socialist core value system, and it promotes the development of people’s ideology and the influence and attraction of the socialist core value system, thus, it expands the space of identity of the socialist core value system. But at the same time, multi-culture, has brought severe challenges to the identity of the socialist core value system, which has hit the recognition of Marx’s guiding position.diluted the identity of socialist ideals and beliefs, weakened the identity of the Chinese national spirit,and interfered with the identity of socialist concept of honor and disgrace. Therefore, in order to make the socialist core value system play a leading and condensing role to China’s current social consciousness, we should face up to and study on the identity of the socialist value system under multicultural context, especially explore the effective path of the socialist core value system identification, to make the socialistic core value system be perceived, recognized and accepted by the broad masses of the people, and make it internalized people’s values and spiritual pursuit and externalized people’s conscious action, so as to promote identity of the socialist core value system. Based on the discussion and definition of related theory about multi-culture and the identity of the socialist core value system, this thesis combed the identity of the socialist core value system’s functional orientation, analyzed the influence of multi-culture to the identity of socialist core value system, and explored the path of the identity of the socialist core value system by combining these influences.
