The international competition in the modern world is actually the competition of science, technology and talents. Populace’s cultivation, however, is the important standard to measure national talents competitiveness."Well equipped youths lead to a powerful country". The development of adolescents relates to the future and destiny of a family, a country, or even a nation directly. The goal of our education is "Education in five aspects simultaneously, moral education first". Namely during the individual growth process, learning to be is the urgentest in education, while learning to do is in the second place. However, at present what worries us is that in order to achieve the goal of moral education, adolescent education has not stepped out of the misunderstanding, which emphasises on body, intelligence and score but neglects mind, moral and ability. On one hand, the adolescent intellectual development is valued unprecedented. Different kinds of "Child Prodigy" are crowned with countless glories. On the other hand, China, a time-honoured country with about a quarter of the world’s population, still hasn’t had a real Nobel winner. And most of the adolescent, who make a figure because of their high IQ, couldn’t build a career and became mediocre at last. Actually, the aim of moral education is to develop good character, positive interest, healthy sentiment, strong will, etc, which are main contents of nonintelligence factors. Therefore, the healthy development of adolescent needs the combination of intelligence and nonintelligence factors, which means we should not only attach importance to the development of intelligence factors, but also pay attention to the cultivation of their nonintelligence factors. In this paper, the author, first of all, introduced concepts and connotations of intelligence factors and nonintelligence factors. By comparing the layer structure of nonintelligence factors and features of intelligence factors, the author emphasized the significance of nonintelligence factors for individual development. Secondly, the author analysed the effectiveness of adolescent moral education in China. Then the author further put forward effective measures to develop and train their nonintelligence factors, which can improve the effectiveness of adolescent moral education.
