The question of probability is the typical question form, which belongs to the range of the uncertainty problem. The ability of solving the question of probability reflects a person’s Thinking activity level. Since1980s, the question solving ability has been the hotspot and the core problem of the global Mathematics education.Researching Meta Cognition has a very important theory meaning and practical value on solving the question of probability. One one hand, it reflects the relationship between Meta Cognition and solving the question of probability. One the other hand, the research achievement of Meta Cognition plays a guiding and helping role in school teaching.Focusing on the research about the level of the high school students on the question of probability, this thesis which is following the theory of Meta Cognition tries to do some tests and analysis based on the features of Mathematics, in order to arouse people’s attention on the development of Meta Cognition, to do some meaningful attempts, and to find out some useful strategies for the Chinese students. The researching methods which combine the theory of probability and Mathematical statistics will provide the whole process of Meta Cognition research with some references.The research significance and value mainly of this thesis lie in breaking through the viewpoint of original information processing theory and start from a new viewpoint of the transition about learning and teaching, aimed at searching for a new recognization on deleloping the students’Meta Cognition and leading to the reform of solving the question of probability. Some related researches prove that Meta Cognition can improve people’cognitive efficiency, reduce the aimlessness and impulsiveness about Meta, and then increase the success rate of solving questions. What is more, according to the ontemporary psychology theory, there are five main systems in human beings’thinking structure. They are target system, material system, operating system, product system and monitoring system, of which monitoring system plays a dominant role. This monitoring system is called Meta Cognition, whose development level affects the other aspects of thinking structure and the quality and efficiency about Mathematics questions’solving. At the same time, the students’Meta Cognition will be improved with the help of Mathematics questions’solving. Therefore, the research on Meta Cognition of Mathematics questions’solving is necessary. With the help of the specific subject and the specific branch on questions’ solving, we can make Meta Cognition more specific. All these will open up a new road for researching the high school students’Meta Cognition on the solving of the question of probability.According to the survey about students’Meta Cognition on the solving of the question of probability, this thesis point out that the students’Meta Cognition Cognition ability can be cultivated. |
